Planner for multi -phase residential subdivision in the west-end of Belleville to include over 950 units. The project includes varying built forms and densities. Phases 10 + 11 are now in progress.
The subdivision has required rezoning for residential uses since the original draft plan was approved. The subdivision is constructed in phases and required redlining for each additional phase in order to be up-to-date in providing the housing needs for the City.
RFA coordinated work of the consultant team through the planning approvals process. RFA conducted planning analyses of each proposed phase and conducted public consultation meetings. Road configuration issues proved to be challenging in recent phases; RFA is assisting in the successful resolution with Belleville planning staff and area residents through conducting neighbourhood consultation and advising on the final proposed road network with the traffic engineer.
