Planner for a 102 unit subdivision on 8.5 hectares of land in Colborne. Phase 1 of the development was approved in 2018 after three formal submissions to the County of Northumberland and is under construction. Phase 2 consisting of 206 units is ongoing.
RFA was the overall design lead, and prepared the Planning Report, development applications, and coordinated the consultant team, and attended municipal review meetings. A Plan of Subdivision approval and rezoning was required to support the development. Through public meetings, traffic became a prominent issue. RFA worked with the consultant team to address the public’s concerns.
