Planner for Phase 5 of the East Village subdivision consisting 61 blocks lots for 333 dwelling units on 11.87 hectares of vacant land. Applications for Phases 1 through 4 were filed in 2000’s. Subdivision is located on the eastern edge of Cobourg’s urban area boundary and south of the CN/CP rail corridor.
Prepared applications and Planning Report for approval of Official Plan Amendment, Rezoning and Plan of Subdivision. Responsible for overall planning approvals and coordination with agency approval authorities.
Public had concerns over a proposed high density designation block, and the potential density to the area. These concerns were addressed to the public with revisions were made to the Plan.
