City of Belleville – Downtown Commons

- Collaborative project with MDB Insights and PACE Designs which resulted in a Feasibility and Economic Impact Study for the Downtown Commons lands with the intent of redeveloping the lands surrounding City Hall to create a vibrant place to live, work, and play.
- RFA acted as the project manager and lead consultant for the project. The aim was to articulate a vision for Downtown Commons and quantify the merits of further investments towards the City Centre. RFA conducted stakeholder interviews, a well-attended Public Information Centre session and presentations to the Downtown Belleville Improvement Area association and City Council. Prepared comprehensive concept plans for short term and long term redevelopment of the lands surrounding City Hall. Established priority actions to achieve the vision for the Downtown Commons.
