Ruth Ferguson Aulthouse, President of RFA Planning Consultant is a member of the Campaign Cabinet for the proposed YMCA Centre for Life in the City of Belleville. The new YMCA Centre for Life is a partnership led by the YMCA of Central East Ontario with Quinte Vitality Social Support (QVSS), Volunteer Information Quinte (VIQ), Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, Community Learning Alternatives, and the City of Belleville. Together, we will strengthen the well-being of the members of our community. The Government of Canada is investing more than $8.9 million and the Provincial Government is investing $7.5 million in this project
The new location in Belleville’s west end will enhance the quality of life and bring programs to an area in need. The goal is to improve the health of more people and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. The new YMCA Centre for Life will provide a variety of services that welcomes people from all backgrounds with a menu of social, education, health, fitness, recreation, life skills programs and opportunity.
